Congratulations blackdeuces! – Duvel

I wanted to congratulate one of our barroom regulars blackdeuces for taking down his first Pot Limit Omaha tournament this weekend. He won a 2K guaranteed on Pokerstars, beating 584 players and earning 440$. Well done son!

The following hand was crucial in him getting to the final table. Good to see aces hold up in PLO.

I’ll buy him a nice Duvel next time I see him. Duvel is a strong Flemish ale (8,5%) with a strong taste, best drank out of a tulip glass. It’s quite an acquired taste, because the brewing is heavily carbonated and quite bitter. You either love or hate Duvel, there’s no in-between. Only problem is, some of us like it a bit too much. And yes, I’m looking your way blackdeuces, you drunken Omaha genius!
